[Fifteen minutes later, there's a gangly asshole walking his way into the alleyway behind Delight's bar, all ready to split his knuckles on somebody's teeth. He's also grumbling to himself:]
Fuckin' bitch, I'll show her a fuckin' potato.

[AND HERE IS LILITH, standing in the alleyway-- she's a less physically imposing figure than even a glamored-up Gren, but she's no less ready to cut a bitch. (hint: the bitch is gren.)
cracking her knuckles:] Last chance to wuss out, asshole.
[But just shrugs off his jacket and tosses it aside, then rolls his shoulder a little to loosen it up. It's been a while since he's had a punch-up, not since that fight with the Tweedles, and he thinks it's been way too long since he's bloodied his knuckles.]
I ain't the one that needs the chance. I've put people in the ground for less than the shit you said.
[Sometimes, Gren loves his glamour because of the fact that it makes people think he hits like Rhys or something. Just because he looks like a gangly 80s motherfucker with bad hair and worse fashion sense doesn't mean that he can't hit like a fucking sledgehammer.]
[And since he can't risk dropping his glamour-- especially not in front of a bitch who'd gladly shank his ass for a reward-- having the first hit isn't a bad thing. Hell, he ought to be able to just one-hit KO her and call it a day.]
Your fuckin' funeral, sister.
[If he was fighting some other mundy who wasn't such a massive bitch, maybe he'd pull his punch. But with her? Hell no, it's coming full force right at her bitch face.]
[Ouch. Turns out, he can actually hit like a goddamn sledgehammer.
Lilith feels the impact shake her, the pain reverberating through her body, but if there's anything she's good at, it's being a stubborn asshole-- one who won't go down without a fight. She grunts with pain, then goes with the momentum and comes right back at him swinging.
Also, she's a dirty rotten cheater with a fist full of phase energy! Enjoy that, Gren.]
[A normal person, when hit full-on by one of Gren's punches, even when he was in glamour, would have the good sense to go down and stay there, probably because they'd be unconscious and possibly bleeding into their brain at the time. Lilith, as Gren has just found out the hard way, is definitely not normal and can apparently take a hit really well for a woman who looks like she's built out of toothpicks and blue finger paint.]
[Huh. Gren really didn't expect his whole stronger-than-you-look schtick to come back at him.]
[When she hits him back, there's some glowy bullshit going on there and he doesn't know what it is, but it's bad-- and he stumbles back, head spinning. He has to grab the wall of the alley to keep himself from falling over, then shakes his head to clear it.]
That fuckin' hurt.
[So, note to self: don't let the bitch do the glowy thing, it hurts. Though he has this feeling that she won't be able to do that with, say, her arm in three pieces, so who wants to grapple?]

[Lilith takes a step forward. She's very threatened, evidently.]
I'll even let you have the first shot. Just to make you feel a little better about yourself.

[Gren does.]
